Did this tonight to practice shading. I've never been good at shading with pixels really, and I feel like its getting worse not better...lol
The bandaged heart was inspired by a drawing of a cat holding a bandaged, stitched, and patched heart that I saw a while ago. The heart stuck in my head, though I don't know whose drawing it was...this is just sort of my pixel tribute to it
Used PSP IX and took about an hour and a half on it...not long at all really. The majority of that time was spent shading...deleting shading...and shading again
The center of it still seems too flat to me, but maybe I'll rework it later when I have more time and patience.
Aw yay! I'm glad that you found this then. Thank you for being its inspiration. I went and browsed your gallery really quick and couldn't find it, but I didn't have a lot of time. I'm gonna come back later. If you want feel free to link to it here. If not I will when I find it
